Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Wilder Insurance Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
