Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Oakland, CA)

Fernwood Linden Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Oakland. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of deposit accounts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with account openings. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
