Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Oakland, CA)

Cedar Mill Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Oakland area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of network equipment and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
