Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Timber Water Authority and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
