Financial Analyst - cost modelling (New Orleans, LA)

Lumen Maple Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for New Orleans and nearby communities, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 989 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
