Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Nashville, TN)

Lumen North Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Nashville and nearby communities. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
