Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Nashville, TN)

Fernwood Cedar Telecom is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Model the cost of field visits and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
