Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Minneapolis, MN)

Ironwood Keystone Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Minneapolis design routes and schedules, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 114 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
