Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Milwaukee, WI)

Lumen Iron Insurance Partners is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for catastrophe response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
