Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Madison, WI)

Northwind Timber Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Madison. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 409 people based in Madison. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of premium billing and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • A relevant degree or certification.
