Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Madison, WI)

Greenridge Maple Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Madison area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 197 people based in Madison. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
