Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Rook Water Authority and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
