Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Madison, WI)

Ironwood Quill Civic Services works with county and city offices around Madison, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of procurement and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
