Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Louisville, KY)

Bright Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Louisville design routes and schedules, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of service alerts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
