Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Louisville, KY)

Westbrook Thistle Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Louisville, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 687 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with claims.
