Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Knoxville, TN)

Fernwood Beacon Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Knoxville plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 541 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
