Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Jackson, MS)

Fernwood Mill Telecom is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for customer tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
