Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Jackson, MS)

Nova Cross Civic Services Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for case files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of case files and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
