Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Indianapolis, IN)

Stonegate Clear Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Indianapolis design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 133 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of ridership counts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
