Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Indianapolis, IN)

Fernwood Quarry Telecom Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for customer tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of customer tickets and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
