Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Houston, TX)

Stonegate Granite Markets is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for store inventory, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of store inventory and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
