Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Houston, TX)

Foxglove Ember Markets Partners is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Houston. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of supplier deliveries and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
