Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Hartford, CT)

Lumen Quarry Transit Planning Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of route schedules and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • A relevant degree or certification.
