Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Hartford, CT)

Foxglove Yarrow Legal Group is a Hartford practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of trust accounts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
