Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Grand Rapids, MI)

Nova Ashton Civic Services Partners supports public agencies in Grand Rapids with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 90 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with constituent requests.
