Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield Kestrel Financial Group provides savings, lending and payment services from Detroit, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 105 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with loan applications. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
