Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Detroit, MI)

Stonegate West Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Detroit, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of service connections and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
