Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Detroit, MI)

Westbrook Mill Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Detroit region. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of meter readings and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
