Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Des Moines, IA)

Bluepeak Mill Energy Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of hardship programmes and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
