Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Des Moines, IA)

Cedar Ember Financial Group is a financial-services company in Des Moines, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of customer onboarding and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with account servicing. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
