Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Des Moines, IA)

Rivermark Meridian Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Des Moines, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of cold storage and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
