Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Des Moines, IA)

Northwind Forge Transit Planning is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of route schedules and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with accessibility audits.
