Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Denver, CO)

Fernwood Rowan Civic Services works with county and city offices around Denver. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of budget submissions and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Denver. • We reply to every applicant.
