Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Columbus, OH)

Summit River Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Columbus plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of production lines and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
