Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Columbus, OH)

Fernwood Ivory Legal Group provides legal services in Columbus across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of billing records and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
