Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Cleveland, OH)

Nova Loom Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Cleveland, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of premium billing and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cleveland. • We reply to every applicant.
