Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Chicago, IL)

What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
