Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Chicago, IL)

Highbridge Forge Transit Planning is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
