Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Chicago, IL)

Bright Rook Markets is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for pricing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
