Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Charlotte, NC)

Northwind Umber Legal Group is a law firm in Charlotte serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of billing records and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
