Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Lumen Corner Early Learning and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of licensing records and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
