Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Charleston, SC)

Harborlight Forge Energy is an energy provider in Charleston focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of meter readings and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
