Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Buffalo, NY)

Foxglove West Energy Partners delivers power and gas plans across the Buffalo region. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
