Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Yarrow Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Buffalo working with agencies and riders, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
