Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Cedar Manufacturing and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Model the cost of machine downtime and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
