Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Buffalo, NY)

Foxglove Yarrow Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Buffalo, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of card disputes and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
