Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Highbridge River Manufacturing and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 643 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Model the cost of machine downtime and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
