Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Buffalo, NY)

Westbrook Kestrel Water Authority Partners is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 372 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meter reading.
