Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Wren Banking Services and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 819 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of loan files and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with fraud alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
