Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Rook Financial and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Boston. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of vendor spend and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with loan applications. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
